With 'The Great Gatsby' film remake hitting our cinema screens soon the world of interiors, fashion and weddings is sure to be well and truly inspired by the glamour and decadence of the Roaring Twenties. The look is all about evoking the luxuriousness of the era with statement drop-waisted gowns and fabulous embellished hairpieces whilst maintaining a gentle, nostalgic and romantic feel. We love a vintage feel colour palette of dusky pink, creams and dove grey, layered lace and pearls, Art Deco prints and Hollywood theater themed wedding invitations. Make sure all eyes are on you with the accessories you choose: beautiful embellished hair combs and head bands and art-deco geometric pleated clutch bags which hark back to the golden age of Old Hollywood Glamour.

Well the start of this year has been extremely busy but incredibly exciting with the launch of our new Amy Elizabeth Bespoke Website, Facebook page and Pinterest pin-boards.

It's been pretty hectic trying to get all of our gorgeous bags and bridal hair accessories finished, photographed and uploaded to the website but were really happy with the finished site. We hope to have a mobile version up and running before the end of March, so it should be even easier for all you lovely people to read our blog, and check out our new products, on the move on your smart phones.

Now that we're at the start of February we're starting to look forward to the new season; Gorgeous Spring Dresses, floral loveliness,  and of course loads of new and exciting trends and ideas to be found at those all important Spring / Summer Wedding Fayres!!  Which ones are you planning on visiting? Hopefully we'll see you at a few.

To coincide with the launch of the new season we thought it the perfect time to start a new 'Trends' series of posts, taking inspiration from everything and anything fashion, clothing and wedding based to bring you some new ideas to help make your big day stand out from the crowd. Stand by for some serious wedding inspiration starting in our next blog post, but if you really can't wait check out our Facebook Page and / or Pinterest boards for some fun ways to surprise your guests with the latest trends.
